Getting your puppy home

Shipping & delivery

We deliver nationwide across the United States, and we handle the logistics so you do not have to. Here are the three ways your puppy can come home.

Flight nanny

A person, not a cargo hold

Our preferred option for most distances is a flight nanny, an experienced courier who flies with your puppy in the cabin and hands it to you at the arrival airport. Your puppy is held, watched, and comforted the entire way. No cargo, no crate in the belly of a plane, no long stretch alone. It is the calmest air option for a small dog, and it is how we send most of our puppies to families across the country.

Ground transport

Door to door, by road

For families who prefer to keep all four paws on the ground, we work with licensed ground transporters who drive puppies to their new homes with regular stops for water, potty, and comfort. It takes longer than flying, but some people sleep better knowing their puppy never left the road. We will tell you honestly whether ground makes sense for your distance and timeline.

Airport pickup

Meet us halfway, or all the way

If you would rather collect your puppy yourself, we can coordinate an airport pickup at a convenient hub. Many families turn it into a short trip and enjoy meeting their puppy in person on day one. We will help you plan timing so the handoff is smooth and your puppy is not waiting around.

What travel costs

Travel is arranged per family and depends on your location and the method you choose. Most flights take between 3 and 6 hours, and we always confirm the exact transportation cost with you before any travel arrangements are made. Nothing is scheduled until you have approved the plan and the cost. If a more affordable route exists for your situation, we will point you to it.

Whatever method you choose, your puppy travels only after it is old enough, has been examined, and is cleared for the trip. We will never rush a puppy onto a plane or into a van before it is ready.
